Program Description

The Paradigm Summer Development Lab is an intensive, eight-week development block designed strictly for elite-rep level hockey players. This program is structured to bridge the gap between technical movement and in-game execution. Our curriculum moves entirely away from traditional, isolated skill drills. Instead, the focus is placed heavily on skating biomechanics, posture cues, edge control, and puck protection, integrating these elements directly into tactical application. Players are taught how specific movement mechanics function as tactical tools within real hockey environments. Through pressure-based constraints, Zakktics-style decision-making scenarios, deception, timing, and lane manipulation, the Development Lab demands high cognitive engagement. The objective is strict game-transfer: equipping players to process variables, manage pressure, and execute mechanically sound decisions at game speed. All sessions are recorded to facilitate coaching review and precise player development analysis. Location: Mold-Masters SportsPlex, Georgetown / Halton Hills Ages: U10–U16 Dates: Thursdays — June 25, July 2, July 9, July 16, July 23, July 30, August 6, August 13 (2026) Time: 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM (90-minute sessions) Stay tuned for upcoming Development Labs in Mississauga, Oakville, Guelph, and Cambridge. Program Investment: $480 + HST for the full 8-week block.
