Tues - Wed - Thurs, Starting March 31 and running until April 30th 6:45am - 8:05am Milton, ON Spring tryouts aren’t won by just skating through cones—they are won by players who move efficiently, think quickly, and win battles. At Paradigm Hockey, we don't just run drills; we engineer better hockey players. Paradigm Tryout Prep is an intensive, 7-week morning program designed to get you in peak mid-season form right when evaluators are watching closely. The Paradigm Difference: Biomechanics + Zakktics. Our curriculum is built on two foundational pillars: Advanced Biomechanics: We utilize proven Train 2.0 technology to teach the exact posture cues and movement patterns used by NHL professionals. We focus on the physics of skating, shooting, and puck protection so you move with maximum power and minimal wasted energy. Zakktics: Mechanics mean nothing if you can't use them under pressure. Zakktics puts players into custom-designed tactical scenarios that replicate common, high-pressure in-game situations. How It Works: We don't just tell players to use their posture cues—we create environments that force them to. By placing players in specific, constraint-based tactical situations (like escaping corner pressure or shooting in stride through traffic), the body naturally has to adopt the correct mechanics to succeed. You learn to read the play and physically execute at the exact same time through the Zakktics framework. What You Will Develop: Elite Movement: Downhill skating, edge control, and NHL-level posture. Hockey IQ & Game Sense: Processing speed to make the right reads under tryout pressure. The Intangibles: Compete level, battle readiness, and the discipline that comes from putting in the work before the sun comes up. Pricing Options The Drop-In $60 per session (Pay as you go) Schedule flexibility or filling in gaps. The 10-Pack $500 + HST (Breaks down to $50/session) Use your 10 credits for any morning session throughout the 7-week program.
